In an independent Scotland it would us voting our own governance. In the union we're voting in British governance. Can you spot the difference? Saying you don't want to govern your own affairs but have it done for you isn't servility? I'm shocked.
And you're British so you're still voting in your own governance. By your logic, you'd have been campaigning for North Lanarkshire to break away from Scotland the first time you got a government you didn't vote for.
Or to have independence in his own house/bathroom/bedroom... It's a bullshit excuse to say 'the others are deciding for me', it's the ****y argument that UKIPpers come up with.
I've nothing against being British or being part of the union. We passed up a chance to have full control of Scotland's own affairs. It's that simple. In an independent Scotland of course you would still get governance you didn't vote for. That's democracy. However, it would have still been a vote about our own governance, as opposed to a vote in British governance from which we get what they give us. There's a big difference.
And today's result was democracy but some don't see it that way... You get a vote, use it...you won't always get what you want but that's just life.
Don't be angry with gamby, he stayed up alll night hoping and mastutbaring that yes would win, he drank and he drank but the yes never came, back to bed for the 4 fingered dead
too many tossers say " im noy voting,my 1 vote won't make a difference, and it's precisely those people who would have voted yes.. that would have probably swung it to a yes win just like conspiracy ed, can't complain if you dunnae vote
