Can I urge everyone to watch that third England goal again.............then tell me they can't play!

If that had been Germany, everyone would be drooling!!

Yes, that was certainly a very well worked goal by Wayne Rooney with some pin-point passing in the build-up.

Excellent goal...I'll even forgive T**tbeard Lallana after that one.

Lambert involved three times in the build up...overlooked as usual. Most pundits still regard him as a "Big" front man and ignore his passing ability and vision.....ask any Saints fan.

Why not when it's on your doorstep? I would jump at the opportunity.

Very good goal. Nice one touch passing.

If only they could do that consistantly when needed. Still, its nice to see an England team that does try to play like that.

I havent seen the whole game. Was it any good ? - worth watching the replay later?

I would say best England performance for a long time
    From the off super charged
It would of helped a great deal and I found it very refreshing because prior to that they are still pretending with theories about football
The players expressed themselves in a brilliant way
Don't think too much I say just play and credit to them they did
Time to return to these basics and this lot IMO can put the old England to bed

The English were challenged by their oldest rival and that helped

I would arrange another one of these ahead of the finals for sure

Fear has prevented England for years
    Time to forget that

Only saw the 2nd half but it was the best England performance I have seen for a long time, the pressing high up the field was first class, put the Scots under huge pressure and didn't allow them any time to settle on the ball. It was like watching a Prem side play against a Championship side.....

Now they have to play like that in the rest of the group matches as they have set the bar high.....

Watching it now on ESPN and we do look quite good.

Like you say, the test comes to try and maintain the standard though the rest of the campaign <ok>

Do you go the Canadian national team's games?

The majority of London lads on here don't seem to go to Wembley to watch England. Same reason I'd suspect.

I've been to about 30 England games at the old Wembley give or take 1 or 2.

I made a vow to myself that I'd never go to the 'New Wembley' until QPR played there. Since then I have only missed 1 England at Wembley match ( San Marino ) due to being on a night shift.

Fair play Ninesy. Keep it up <ok>

But again, I'd say the majority of London based lads on here don't go to Wembley to watch England.

I should of mentioned in my previous post that you're probably right. Everyone seems to be double busy nowadays, and it costs a lot of money to follow club and country. International football seems to lack the intensity that it once had.

I went to see Ireland play Poland last year and there were more fukking Polaks there than natives.

Load of sh*te anyway. I'd much prefer Club football.
