I've got no problem with Abraham winning the fight. None at all. I scored it 114-114. Other folk with far more knowledge than me have called it for Smith by 1 or 2 rounds. Others to Abraham by a similar margin. The judges at ringside called it 117-111, 117-111 and 119-109. Now the first two scores look extremely generous to Abraham. The third is an absolute disgrace. There is no ****ing way on God's green earth that Smith only took one round in that fight. I suppose you can take getting beat but it's hard to take when there was no ****ing way you were going to be allowed to win. That was the single worst scorecard I have ever seen.
I had Abraham two ahead, but i found it very hard to score with the bias of Watt, etc in your ear. Abraham blocked an awful lot of Smiths punches, but the judges were certainly well off the mark.
I can live with that sort of a margin. Abraham took a lot of rounds off and did nothing for 60-90 seconds at a time. He just could not have won 11 rounds.
watt and halling were ****ing annoying, i'm sure they weren't that disgraced when burns got gifted the decision against beltran. uk has it's fair share of dodgy scores
Was it not a US judge in the Beltran fight? I've seen some controversial ones but that was beyond anything I've ever seen. Dave Parris scored Fury Vs McDermott 1, at 8-2 or some **** like that. That was the next worse one for me.
Hindsight is foresight for ****ers but I expected Kovalev to do that..... Not enough to write it down or mention it to anyone ever..... But I did think it.
