I was just wondering what folks think is the best way to ensure survival in The Prem. Is it better to score goals or is it better to not concede? After all you can't guarantee any points by scoring goals, but you can always be sure of at least a point by not conceding.

Should we have worked harder on the defensive side to our game and made that a priority from the start of the season rather than chasing strikers?

... an easy one this ... there are a maximum of 3 points available in a game ... but you need to score to get them
Agreed, but if you score 1 and concede 2 how many points do you get?

Being solid at the back doesn't mean you can't also score goals. Doesn't being solid at the back mean you don't lose so many?

Well one or the other is surely better than conceding but not scoring! But then as he keeps playing Wes and Swarch man then I guess Nige has given up anyway.
