Sounds like bad bruising/flesh wound. Hopefully not out for more than a week or so.
 
Didn't look like a flesh wound at the time, but I suppose that's fairly good news. Better than a twisted knee which is what I thought it was.
 
Id imagine chaplow would play in cm (shock horror!) and punch, guly or steeeve on the right if we had any more problems

I think we'll need our hard-workers for this game, so a midfield of Lallana, Hammond, Chaplow, Steeeeve for me.

I know leaving Cork out is a bit controversial, but I think Hammond would be useful to bully them a little and I think that's the most industrious midfield selection available to us.

Absolutely crazy suggestion leaving cork out the whole midfield were excellent, de ridder is an impact/luxury! Same team as Saturday for me with the exception on butterfield!
 
Think i mentioned this in another thread, would rather play de Ridder on the right than Chaplow for Friday. Reading did so well against us last time because they played up and closed us down so well. I think de Ridder is far faster, trickier and harder to close down than Chaplow. He will also have the confidence of having scored last time. I know he has a worse end product, but id rather have lots of "bad products" in and around the box than lose the ball at the halfway line..

Agreed. More than likely Lambo or Guly or someone could knock in a rebound if necessary.

Definitely agree. It's a game where we could really use that release valve down the flanks when they push up, and that's de Ridder's specialty.
 
Did I just read someone saying they'd leave Cork out so the midfield would have a better work rate? Wow! I know it's. Game of opinions but that's like saying leave Lambert out incase we get a pen.
