I dislike everyone from the top 6, bar maybe Man City. Their fans at the least annoying of the bunch.
Don't mind Chelsea or Man City, quite like Arsenal. Used to hate Man Utd and was always saying to their twatty fans "wait til Fergie goes and we will see" but I am not enjoying them being **** as much as I thought I would. Liverpool easily the worst of the big clubs.
Arsenal have been a joy to watch since Wenger took over. Living in North London I used to have a soft spot for both them and spurs. Pochettino has changed all that though. Both they and Liverpool can sod right off. Man U I can tolerate, man City I refuse to acknowledge as a top club, and Chelsea I begrudgingly admire.
Man U is the one I despise the most, all their plastics giving it the big one when hardly any of them have ever even been to old Trafford , but once I met a Utd fan actually from Manchester........I know I know he probably lied and was really from Exeter .....
There goes my ability for leaving out whole words. When I do a typo, I do a biggie. RELY is the missing word. Ataboy Lamb. Knew I could rely on a virtual buddy.
I suppose I prefer Arsenal out of the big clubs. But I don't really care that much about any of them, tbh. I want our players to go to whoever gives us the best price. Then I hope we beat them. I think it is best if the league is competitive. So to that end, I have no particular desire to see Liverpool fail. And it would be good for Spurs to make a challenge. Chelsea and Man City I like because they are not traditional powerhouses. But OTOH they are also the most annoying in terms of buying titles.
Everybody buys titles. Everyone always has. Sure, there have been the occasional team who are much more than the sum of their parts. Nottm Forest, Derby County, Ipswich Town, Burnley, etc.. They all won elite league titles without having necessarily buying the best players.
We bought second place twice. Not on the same level, but money was spent to get us back to the EPL. I like to think that we are slightly superior to other high spending teams in that we also had a plan beyond just throwing all the best players into the mix, but it is a thin line.
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...l-holding-out-for-Bastian-Schweinsteiger.html Telegraph have United dithering over Morgan. Have posted this not because I necessarily believe it to be true, but because we have read articles saying the exact opposite. Shows how much attention we should take of foreign papers saying a target of ours is definitely coming here or definitely going elsewhere. I would like to say wait until everything is decided, but where's the fun in that.
And Fran that article must have more truth as it gives us a faint glimmer of hope... #believewhatwefancy
Me too, but this is Saints and the footballing gods decree that we must have some suffering as fans! They have been mighty kind so far with three signings already; the backlash could drag us through August
