Very nice to see him get some recognition. We've discussed it on here before and I've come to agree that he probably shouldn't be in the 23, but let's hope at least he'll get some friendly caps after the world cup.
Also the worst commentating ever, should be losing his mind over how Schneiderlin has just had the legs to outrun Welbeck in the 80th minute or whatever it is and then put in a fantastic tackle, instead he's almost creaming his pants over the fact that Welbeck is about to lay it on a plate for Rooney and when it is denied he takes a long pause and then offers 'But Schneiderlin is able to stem the tide' as a disappointed afterthought.
I mis-typed... I meant to say "repeat" They only showed that bit once. Could have made it a 15 minute video
That's a really well put together video, showing all the parts of his game grouped by type, culminating in his myriad goals (well, you know what I mean).
Makes me wonder about his eyesight. We could possibly accuse him of NOT knowing where the goal is. EDIT: Incidentally, why is there a current trend for hair styles that make blokes heads look like burnt matches..? All this stuff piled up just looks awful. Hopefully someone will come up with something a little less twatty looking soon.
Absolutely. I remember seeing that at the time and realising that, from a defending point of view, it was a thing of beauty. It should be in a football manual somewhere.
That video is just a joy to watch. So many simple things he does well, he stays on his feet wherever possible and his short passing is always top drawer. A real ball winner in that he always ends up with the ball at his feet after a tackle. So many players think that the job is done when you dislodge the ball from your opponent but it's what happens with the ball after that, retaining the ball and moving it on that he excels at. I don't know how significant Morgan's selection to the 40-man squad is if he is not to make the World Cup team. It could easily be Deschamps throwing him a meaningless bone. It continues to baffle me how underrated Schneiderlin is by his country.
The best thing about that video is it shows that whenever the opportunity is there, he finds the forward pass first; only if it is not on, does he go back or sideways. So often that forward pass is first time too.
He must be so annoying to play against...so skilful and quick. Now you see him, now you don't. Also must praise the whole team...they way they find space and give other team members an option is a joy.
Hmm. Wanted to watch it again. Didn't realise the Premier League would be so damn picky about a bit of action. You can't even pick out highlights to simply appreciate without the PL removing footage simply because money isn't coming into the coffers. What's the matter Premier League..? Don't you have enough money yet..?
You realise this is a compilation of highlights, not every pass he played this season, right? Odd, given this news from last year: http://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/...right-owners-is-final-in-premier-league-case/
Whoopee..! I'll leave it up to you PTF, to present the case to the PL and then we can watch the compilation video again.
