Id agree that Schlupp is slightly over-rated, hes still young and he defiantly improved last season. I think with Fuchs coming in and a new manager, Schlupp will haveto step up again if he wants a regular spot. James is hot and cold for me, but then again so are King and DD and James was the more reliable last year overall, which is why i would prefer us to sign a new midfielder regardless of whether Cambiasso signs.
Schlupp is young, verastile, quick, strong, can cross and can beat a man. He's certainly not over rated.

agree that AK and DD did not really step up to the mark. AK & MJ might not be able to step up but DD might. I sure we can get better midfielders as Cambiasso carried it last year. For JS it might be best for him to loan (a short loan) to a top championship side to bring up his choice decisions. Then he might be an asset to the team.
seriously? Schlupp being sent out on loan to a Championship side when Champions League sides in this couuntry were reportedly 'in for him' before he signed his new deal with us?...
