I used to play Hittite or Choson, had a brutal elephant rush and a 3.57 pop 200 legion rush. That was starting in iron age with ressources but you had to set everything up for the long haul, sooo many farms. My forte was rushing and holding strongpoints, using towers as attacking weapons is brutal.
My PC at the time could barely handle AoE, i'd rather play Civ 4 BTS nowadays, but i rarely do. Pretending to be a real person is ****ed, i miss being a student...
I use towers for attacking, if you put it near their town centre, all their villagers attack it so you can pick them off. If I could change one thing about the game it would be to get farmers to build another farm, once the old one is depleted, automatically. Same with Civ, too much time spent doing "housekeeping" when you're trying to orchestrate a war. I have played Civ since the early days, still like to play Civ 3, was hoping Civ 4 would strip out some of the monotony but it just added more. Only thing I got high in the rankings in was Runescape but have stopped playing it now as Jagex have ruined it witgh uneccessary updates.
