Also note how Manchester United have had the least penalties given against them (excluding new or newly promoted teams).

.

and dodgy referring decisions <ok>
sure ... as many other factors too

but bad defending come first .. who you expect to concede more penalties? Real/Barca or Granada ?
if you look to table you can see UTD conceded 26 in 11 seasons , chelsea 29 .. so guess Chelsea too are getting refs help then? Everton conceded not far 33 penalties, guess we need to thanks refs for everton recrod too not their defending .. actually the only thing common on those 3 clubs are they have solid defenders and great defensive organization

like Chelsea and like Everton too .. so guess it has to do with ref not how good you defend !!!

so according to your logic .. guess Refs were helping Everton more than Liverpool then over the past years <laugh>

Where exactly have Liverpool and Everton been over the past years? That's the more important question. Then consider where Manchester United have been and you begin to see why people take exception to the exceptionally high amount of decisions going in their favour.

PS, remember we're looking at both sides of the picture, penalties awarded and conceded. As I mentioned earlier... In this case the difference between the amount of penalties awarded to Manchester United as opposed to the amount given against them is scandalous.

darling everyone knows Liverpool get refs decisions more than everton .. but that contradict your hypotheses bcz everton conceded less penalties than liverpool

what are you refusing to see is that UTD, Chelsea and Everton had conceded less penalties bcz simply our players can tackle & our mid help out

beside can you pls stick to one version ... first you said we get more penalties .. then after stats shows minimum difference, you change the argument into penalties conceded !!.. how desperate is that?

beside you guys focusing on Rooney penalty and totally disregarding Braga softer penalty ..wondering why?

Once again you fail to see the point. Read the article again and then talk to me <ok>

This time last year many Arsenal fans were calling for Walcott to be sold, frustratingly inconsistent, doesn't try, too lightweight, always injured etc etc etc, the list went on, now it seems he hailed as our saviour and his absence as the main reason we've slipped up recently.
Arsenal fans can be a fickle lot....

I'm no Arsenal fan ;)

Oh, and I guess this was another important goal for Walcott in a tight match, against a team that defends well, where we weren't counter-attacking all the time... gent.

I'm aware of that.
You were saying how surprised you were Walcott wasn't starting, my point was that many Arsenal fans are now saying exactly the same but a number of the those were also saying less than a year ago that Walcott should be sold, hence my comment that Arsenal fans are a fickle lot....
