TBF to the dog, if it's new to the environment it's going to bark.
It hears a noise above, there's somebody upstairs.
It hears a noise below, WTF?
Someone walks past the door (which is inside to the dog), intruder alarm.

Give it a few weeks and it will get used to it and settle down.
