Said it. Lost total confidence in the bloke, not a championship quality manager.
Time for a new manager and some new signings or div 1.

Harsh, I did feel this way earlier in the season but is it really his fault if there was little support from the owner in the summer and we have a league one squad which is being found out...?

Even harsher if we are relegated. I don't lay the total blame totally at his feet but his stuborness to make changes, substitutions
when we are not playing well or losing games is not helping the cause. Signs players who are injured and drops players who have had
good games eg. Bobby Reid. Inclined to believe what Forest fans have been saying about his ability to manage in this division.
I have seen too many relegation seasons and this smacks of one. Without a major overhaul of management and playing staff we
will drop without a whimper.

I don't rate his stubborness or inability to use substitutions. I fear this will never change and he may have to go so we can change for the better.

Although who would come in and do better. It also may leave it too late to make an impact in January.

Its now or never as to whether he goes or not

Trouble at the henhouse? A manger is judged by his ability and that is so dependent on what support he gets from the top to a large extent. I have a feeling deep down inside that he may walk and honestly I am very varied in my thoughts as to whether that is a good idea. The decision is his, and his alone, but I fear where it might take us.

Team selections, tactics and substitutions are down to SC. Despite the obvious need to change things he
fails to do so. Problem is any management change, will be made by a board who do not have the best track record in
recruiting managers. Worrying times indeed, but how long can you leave it with no change?

Change to who? please make some suggestions as to who it would be sensible to recruit as a manager now? a process that could take weeks and would inevitably lead us to us missing the transfer window.

Weeks? Most appointments go like this, phone call, "How do you fancy managing BCFC", "How much will you pay me, what money is available for new players"?
Can happen in few days eg Cotts appointment.

Think you need to have a look back and reassess that.. although David Moyes isn't doing anything maybe a quick phone call and we could get him in?
You dont have to like managers for them to be successful eg, Warnock, Mourinho?
On the subject of Moyes or any others, if the dosh is big enough they will come.

You've recruited a few managers have you?

Who said anything about liking them?

Moyes will come..<laugh> yeah course he will...

Just got back from the game gutted that they scored in the 91st minute. Thought we didn't play too bad but the stats are there to see.
The thing that worries me with Cotts is his substitutions, I could see it and others mentioned it around me Wilbs was blowing out his arse 20 minutes to go and should of been subbed the pitch was heavy going and others seemed to follow suit in getting leggy.
Interestingly I listened to BBC Berks and got pissed of with their fans saying it's only Bristol City who are fighting for their life's etc etc. But the huge majority said that they won it on subs and apart from the first for McShane the other two was perfect timing etc.
Good to hear that Cox and Robinson are returning to their clubs but we are also releasing Moore who has never been given chance by us and always the fall guy when things go wrong.
On another note, I'm glad we didn't waste money on Vidra he's pants

I agree with you ROD about the substitutions, he has never seemed to want to change a game tactically? it was ok in league 1 but we've been found out at this level.

I said before the season started I would prefer to return to 4-4-2 and thought he would and his refusal to try something different is baffling. I also have to question the recruitment of Cox, Moore and Robinson its so bizarre? but delusional fans calling for Moyes need to wake up. We can't attract mediocre championship players at the moment.

We saw with the SOD appointment that mid season changes at Bristol City do not work!
