i would rather not make him even richer by handing him even more BBC tv license fee money personally.
This is fun JWM losing it big style. Let's hope his Missus has his supper on the table PDQ or she will get a few across the jaw.
You're obviously choosing to ignore the fact that Top Gear is the biggest money spinner that the BBC has!
The format is good and it is sometimes funny but you could get any 3 middle aged blokes to read the scripts and drive cars. Jezza allegedly punched the producer because no hot food was served after filming. What did he expect ?.
I think you have already made that abundantly clear Warky. His contract runs out next month it was probably a publicity stunt by him to do a show on Sky ripping off the T G format.
Whatever you think of the bloke, the show etc, if he's done wrong he's got to go, in any other job the person would have to be sacked there should be no special treatment for the guy. I feel the BBC went a little ahead of themselves though by cancelling the shows. Clarkson for me is like marmite, sometimes he's very witty and funny others he's an absolute dickhead. But actually he's very very good at interviews, I would go as far to say you find far more out about the person when he interviews the celeb in a reasonably priced car than you do in any chat show on TV, perhaps he should go on to have his own chat show. As for top gear, it's gone too far, to scripted and from actually quite liking Hammond he just now plays the clown, god it can get irritating!!
Funnily enough he is pictured in the Mail outside one of my old haunts The Ladbroke arms Notting Hill today.
Can somebody leak the names of everyone who signed that petition? That way, their workmates could sock them one with impunity, by their flawed logic. Personally, I can't stand Jeremy Clarkson. Top Gear isn't even that funny, scripted or not, and it's certainly not relatable or relevant anymore. BBC should just sack the bloke, who's become a controversy-seeking parody of late anyway. Let ITV or Channel Five have him, at least people will be spared a full hour of him with some adverts.
