He did have big news, some company he's involved with has linked up with Sony

I had a call with a chap in Dubai, someone I know well and have worked closely with for 6 months. I didn't even mention the takeover, as i'd emailed him about it some weeks back and he hadn't responded. Towards the end of the call he starts talking about how he wants to expand into KSA (Saudi Arabia) and is putting a lot of time and money into it, I said "yes, I notice PIF are in the news a lot at the moment about being the number one investor, globally". Again, didn't mention takeover. He said "yes, they bought your football team." I questioned it but he seemed of the opinion it was all but done, few talks still going on but it's a done thing.

Like I say, no reason to lie whatsoever.
