It's a nonsense narrative as we have conducted ourselves the exact same with or without any "fakeovers."
I believe all the takeovers attempts have been genuine, and until this current one breaks down I'll be disappointed. As far as I'm concerned fans are inventing deadlines and are disappointed that they're not being met.
Officially all we know is both parties are close to agreement and both parties are frustrated with leaks. The rest is purely speculation.
I blame the Chronicle tbh. They've got this live feed which is just pumping out utter ****e.

i get so annoyed with this fakeover conspiracy nonsense.
they either go public to try and push ashley into terms he doesnt want or ever will agree or we hear nothing about them.
there will never be one mate... if thks group can't then nobody ever will unless were relegated and worthless to anyone.. if we are ever sold we will be sold to someone who cannot do better than ashley.
