Doubt they'd oppose it if it was one of their darlings being taken over by the megabucks... Manutd or the like. For us? Yes, I could see them blocking it.

I would be far too intimidated by the Saudis to say no to them. If they have this big grand strategy, imagine Ashley saying "nah mate, I don't actually want to sell."

The last person who defied the Saudis was chopped up in Turkey. I'd just take my £340m and run.

Nope, this isn't in the owners test guidelines.

The media is DESPERATE to discredit this story. It feels as though everyone wants us where we are, with a **** of an owner running it on a shoestring, playing our anti-football under a sad dinosaur of a manager. I don't really understand why the World wants us to fail. There aren't many fanbases who could do with a decent break quite like ours.

You say there aren't many fan bases, I disagree!

Take out the usual top 8 teams then every other team in the country could do with a break like this.

What about Blackpool or Forest Green Rovers or Hornchurch AFC?

FGR?? They’ve had a massive rise. Blackpool got ****ed over after they got over-promoted. We are an established PL team that got relegated twice because of the disgraceful ownership, and have had to live with zero ambition.

And?

We're top 20 in the country.

What about Morecombe or Luton? Why do we deserve it more than the other thousands of football clubs in the country?

There were over 700 teams in the FA Cup. 690 or more of those teams deserve a rich owner willing to do what's best and make progress to compete in the PL and on the world stage, not just us.

Hmnnn. So a definitely maybe then?
Thought as much<laugh>
Don't believe in coincidences!!
<cheers>

coincidentally nor do I...

although Obi hasn’t been seen for a while too... which is hard to type as he’s such a fat ****ing mess of a man.
