Hey, can I have a mods attention? I think Smug in Boots has hacked Chaos.
Given this and the occasional leaving thread threat / flounce, maybe Chaos is Smug...

Surely living with Less Hope would be the worst?Positivity is the way until it’s officially declared off. It’s always better to live with hope than no hope.
We struggled last time against the owls.West Ham will win the Premiership as we struggle against Sheffield Weds in the championship...
Ashley simply doesn’t want to sell...
no surprise he turned down monsour .
i wish death on mike ashley i really do
truth
if this happens AGAIN quite how any fan would ride this train any longer is beyond me
My personal interest in Newcastle will go down honestly. Might start watching more of Cardiff or maybe just pick and choose watching the better sides play. Catch a good game when I can.
What's the point in watching Newcastle? He's sapped pride and love out of the club. It's an entity, a commodity an entertainment piece. If it's not entertaining then why go?
the worst part is a huge number of fans will just roll with the fakeover nonsense
Yeah, "they were never interested anyway, ****ing Ashley"
No, what's far worse than him making it up is them being genuinely interested and us not budging.
It's ironic that he owns stores, because Ashley is a ****ing terrible salesman. Go into his store and ask for a shirt he'll take it off the counter and say "actually I like the shirt hanging there So, you can't have it."
Personally I think the fans who thought this was possible need to wake up and not fall for this **** anymore. People keep talking about if the interest is real. Honestly we don't know. Normally I'd say it is, but the fact its being played out through the media obviously raises concerns on that front - genuine business of this nature is not really done that way. The same as the last lot who also had history of failed 'bids'.
All said and done though it doesn't really matter if the interest is real so there is little point in our fans squabbling with each other about it, or one side claiming the other is being stupid by claiming the interest is or isn't real. The only relevant point in any of this is whether Ashley is genuinely interested in selling the club. Logically and based on what we know, he isn't. He'll say he is but his actions suggest otherwise. His main business is still prospering from this relationship.
Perhaps he would sell if someone offers way over the odds and caves in to any demands he has for the SD hooks to remain firmly lodged for a while. Which serious operator is going to agree to that? None. So we are not for sale as far as I can see.
