I think Bournemouth might be mid-way through their wobble, which will knock them out of the autos race. Looking at their fixtures, they should finish the season strongly though. If we get autos I think they may well get through the play-offs on the back of momentum in the final few matches

I fancy the final will be between them and Wolves, as long as they don't finish so that they play each other for a place in the final.

Looking ahead to tonight I don't see the dramatic fall out as in the previous set of fixtures when most of the front runners capitulated. It will be interesting to see if Derby get back on track at Brighton. Elsewhere I can't see Boro not taking all 3 points against Millwall and similarly Watford should be too good for Fulham. Bournemouth play Wolves which means something has to give there and maybe a draw is the best outcome for us. Ipswich also need to get back to winning ways, well for their sakes anyway.

I agree Thurnby, but I think Fulham could give Watford a battle after their win over Derby.

Hi Rick, yes could be a good game that one. I wouldn't rule out a draw but Watford are on a rich vein of form currently and it would take a very special team to beat them!

That thought had occurred to me as well Colk. Their 'rich vein' suddenly dried up that day! :emoticon-0105-wink:

Since Bassong came : back from the cold:, we've prevented two of the high scoring teams from even having many shots at goal. Makes you wonder where we might be had Bassong not 'thrown his toys out of the pram: with NA's appointment????

That's exactly what I was thinking when ?JRFan posted the form table. So satisfying to see the L in Watford's form of WWWLWW!!

At a stretch, still in the PL!?!

... Nah, those last five games were too much to ask

He might have made a difference against Liverpool, perhaps.

Agreed and Bournemouth. Form could pick up though. Doubt either will be promoted.

I maintain that I think Bournemouth will dig out of this current spiral of bad form eventually and recover strongly to keep their play-off position! Just from looking at their fixtures that would be my guess
