Don’t give up on Saint Charles just yet, old boy. He unfortunately pulled very, very, and I do mean very, very, hard during the early stages of the race and as a result had nothing left at the business end. The weight of money for him throughout Saturday confirms how highly he is regarded. Mr Henderson’s magic hands will sort that little ‘foible’ out and a few flights of hurdles will see a much better animal next term. Still potentially a top notcher.
