Bells n banjos in the Bangor bumper is very good but put in one of the strangest runs I've seen in a long time.

I've lumped on this St Charles here - strong bumper but 9/4 seems a decent price

Had a decent bet each way on TRUSTAN TIMES at 20-1 earlier in the week and I guess I should be happy. I am actually a little peeved with Nicholls though for running Tidal Bay. Without him in the race Trustan Times would have been four pounds better off with the winner and six pounds better off with the runner up. You have to think he would have won under those terms and never when looking at the race did I ever believe that Tidal Bay would run after falling at Aintree!

Kingman was excellent, he was my Guineas horse since he won his maiden but he had to come back and prove he was over his injury on the track and he done it in some style, at a fair price too considering his reputation. It looked a pretty decent Greenham beforehand, time will tell what he beat but it will take a fair performance to beat him in the Guineas. The only lingering doubt for me is the mile, he has a lot of speed and wouldnt be out of place in a July Cup I dont think but he should be ok. There is no way Australia will live with that speed and it will take a serious Group 1 miler to even trouble him.
