I've always struggled to find good jobs where I want them to be. I mean there have been decent jobs I could do around the locations that I wanted to be, but there were always better jobs somewhere else. Before I chose Guernsey I got offered a very decent job in Brighton which paid a bit more (and I love Brighton), but it was completely removed from the technology side of the business which I've made my niche, so it was a choice of taking the more fun option at the expensive of long term prospects - or choosing the boring 'build for the future' option. If I get hit by a bus tomorrow I'll have made the wrong life choices
