They may be queueing up, but nobody seems to want to take over. Cardiff and Boro are doing their best to waste a point. Reading beating Leeds. Only Hull and West Ham are doing what they need to, at present. This is all subject to change, of course. Nice to sit back and watch them all stumble over each other though. EDIT: And yes, Huddersfield seem to have lost the impetus to keep going. As you say, it's a funny old game.
That run was always false any way due to the loss in the play off final (which some how didn't count).
If either side have to win that, then I happy it's Boro. I'm in no doubt that Cardiff are a bigger threat to our automatic promotion chances than Boro.
agreed, although I am suprised Boro have scored three times in one game - I think the Cardiff defence must be on another planet!
Poor old Leicester have lost. They just can't seem to close this 13 point gap to us. Guess they'll have to get their chequebook out again next month.
Leicester are a joke. Who's honestly going to want to join them in January no matter how much money they offer them. Their chances of promotion are getting slimmer by the week.
Yep, but then my man Billy Sharp scored two in three minutes. Maybe our defeat there a couple of weeks ago isn't as bad any more?
Good point St Bendy; and Billy Sharp realy has got his scorring boots nicely polished at the moment; I always rated him at the Blades; shame we did not get him in the summer...
I'll take today's results - we can't have everything going for us, every week. Cardiff, Leeds, Brighton and Leicester losing, Blackpool drawing. Ok West Ham, Boro, Hull and Reading all won, but I'll take this.
Rhodes scored all four......would love him at Saints, unlikely but he would form a brilliant partnership with Rickie
Should add my thanks to the manager of the month panel. Just as Cardiff were on a surge, Mackay gets manager of the month and Cardiff immediately go and pick up just one point from their next two games.
