Was a winner 4 furlongs out too wasn't he. Top weight carrying performance that.

No probs, just glad you all got on, shame it wasn't as huge odds as the ebor but still tasty enough if you got the 16s :p

And yeh it's a group horse STH, was so glad Baker was riding it as well, i like Oisin but he's a bit too hasty for me, knew Baker would settle it and just push at the right time and he did just that, could see it was going to piss it half way through the race

    Well done Chelsea, great tipping.

That was a hell of a performance to be giving that amount of weight in that ground.

Well done with Litigant (again), Chelsea. I did not have a penny on it in either the Ebor or the November Handicap but I told a friend of mine and he had a £5 each-way at 12/1 and texted me to say that I am out of the doghouse now! I never bet when the ground is soft or heavy so it was a non-starter for me.

I hope you did not risk trying to play up your winnings on that rank football team. Each week their opponents are starting to look the best bet of the weekend. Mourinho will keep his job while they are in the Champions’ League.

I had a tip yesterday for West Ham from a betting service that keeps emailing me desperate to sign me up for their paid tips by continually sending me free losers.

Exactly! They sent me a tip for their horseracing service last week that was to back a 4/1 shot each-way at Kelso. It duly placed but at a fifth the odds that is still a loser and I would not pay somebody for short-priced each-way tips when we have Chelsea giving us double digit each-way winners for free!

Yeh i stopped following football 2 months ago <laugh> na i don't know what's going on to be honest, personally i want Jose to stay but at the same time we need to start winning soon, I'd give him until the end of the year ( 6 PL games + 2 CL games ), if we finish 1st/2nd in our CL group and get at least 14 points from them 6 PL games then he should get backed in January and stay, if not then he's going to have to go as we then will be in danger of not getting top 4. But if we get 13-14 pts from them 6 PL games, the gap to 4th should only be a max of 9pts, and with 5 months left i'd expect us to get it comfortably, whereas if we were still around 13-14 pts from top 4 then we'd be in serious danger and would have to act.

Either way need to start picking it up, Jose's been at fault for a hell of a lot especially the Eva incident, but he's still the only person i could guarantee and 100% believe can turn this around and he deserves the time too, players need to wake up too, Matic, Fabregas + Hazard + Costa have been nothing short of pathetic all season and the rest bar Willian + Begovic have all been below-par

If they have any sense they will just pay off Eva with a non-disclosure agreement and keep quiet on what the media speculate.

At least Mourinho had the good sense to buy a top quality reserve goalkeeper when Petr Cech departed across London, otherwise the goal difference could be horrendous. Naturally, he would rather have the main man back but even so the defence has been a total joke with changes virtually every week and only a bricked-up goal would be any good!
