What an absolute brilliant read of the play , then pass ,by McNaughton. This and the goal saving play by Taylor saved our bacon today

Yes agree but Taylor was average most of the game and he cost us the first goal, it came from his part of the field, where was he, he left Williams badly exposed?

Agree Phil , although plays pretty well on the defence side brings very little to attack .Monk and Tabanou should bury the hatchet and that should start with a Tababou start.

Sorry Phil , Taylor was trying to fill two positions on the goal because Williams was absent from his position.Willims was responsible .

Just got back in from the Liberty after watching the Ospreys, and then watching the RWC Semi-Final on TV there.

Relieved that we picked up 3 points at Villa but I kept getting texts to say that the first half was dire.

At the end of the day, the points were needed, but ......

Big game up next at home to Arsenal. We (always) seem to raise our performance levels for the bigger games - so very much an acid test for us next week.

Up to 11th as it stands <cheers>

Well I stayed till the end of the game, players were all out clapping the Jack Army, all the Villia players were gone so if there was any argie bargie (see what I did there!!) the Villia players must have been waiting for them.

But Richards does start all the hassle by shoving his shoulder into Fed, I cant see why he did it as there is nothing in the challenge just prior to the incident. Mind you Fed was a tad lucky. But Richards lost it completely.

We had enough players back to nullify the threat but there were two culprits , Williams was busting a gut to get back into position and nearly overtook Ki who had half the distance to run and Ki then ended up marking no one, he and Taylor kept ball watching without checking where the Villa players were , Williams saw where the treat was and tried to close Ayew down , something which Ki or Taylor should have done.so Williams wasn't responsible at all.
