I backed him in both those races. I didn't yesterday. His early form was up with the best of this lot. Don't think it's fair to blame Moore. When Moore scrubbed coming into the straight the horse did not have the change of pace necessary to take a position.
Just kept repeating the same errors race after race. Personally I very much doubt that Churchill would have won but he had no hope by being put on the inside
I wouldn't blame the jockey either but Churchill got knocked off his stride by Cliffs of Moher when they turned in and got bumped again by Success Days when he tried to go the other side of Eminent. I think that was his best chance of winning a group one in open company. Don't know where he'll go next but I'd guess it won't be an easier race. Decorate Knight was a deserving winner but I don't think he has beaten the greatest bunch.
