Afternoon guys, I can honestly say it wont be a no bet day for me primarily because in these conditions i find winners easier to come by, so here goes based on a number of factors but primarily Going, Weight and Grade of Race are my selections for Newmarket today, any other factors i will highlight below: Newmarket 2.20 my selection is the useful John Gosden trained DEIA SUNRISE 12/1 (EW) will appreciate the drop back in distance and the conditions underfoot shouldnt bother him at all, a big plus is the stable are bang in form at the moment with a 50% place rate with thier runners over the last two weeks, should go close again today. GO DUTCH 7/1 is one that should promise LTO when running on over 7f, the extra furlong today should suit and the more rain the better with his one win coming on soft ground and could be the main danger to my selection, however, another that should set a strong gallop, might get away is dropped back in distance is the Kevin Ryan trained ZAKREET 18/1 and may be worth some small EW money. 2.55 a highley competive sprint Handicap with a number of decent types with past form in CLass 1, Group and Listed Company but have failed to show any decent performances in a long while now, but leaving them on a very competitive mark namely MEDICIAN MAN 16/1, HIGH STANDING 20/1, BREATHLESS KISS 50/1 who has always suggested that she needs further and steps up to 8f for the first time today and any market move could be significant and finally one that has only ever performed at thsi level is the Richard Fahey trained IRISH HEARTBEAT 8/1 who has won off a similar rating and should like cut; however; it is MEDICIAN MAN 16/1 (EW) that gets my vote here day in a very competitive sprint Handicap. 3.30 SANDBANK SIZZLER 20/1 (EW), showed great promise when winning by 14l in a 10f maiden at Epsom and went off at 6/1 for his first run in Handicap Company when a tailed off last on Good to Firm ground, he drop sback to 10f today and gets what may be his preffered ground, if he can reproduce his win form he is far far to big a price to ignore and the stable and jockey combination have started the season with a bang, another in with a chance at a decent EW price is SHVANSKY 14/1. 4.00 Sir Henry Cecils Handicap horses have sown to be better for a run this season and it may be worth following LATE TELEGRAPH who showed promise last season and at odds of 14/1 is worth an EW bet.
Button had a mare of a day yesterday and didn't get much running, so if he has a better morning session I think that price you have could look good. I will be watching FP3 with interest as it normally gives a major indicator to Quali and the race. I quite like the Italian in the Final of Roland Garros today, with Sharapova getting to the final despite not playing the best style of tennis. 7/2 looks a fair bet.
Nice double on the football day, Germany and Holland pays 3/1, good luck today im off around a not so sunny Durham for a meal and a few sherbets, good luck today guys and have fun
16-1 with Sportingbet Not watching any racing today, can't be fecking arsed with it. A couple of hours enjoying the sunshine and then in front of the telly for the footy. Best of luck to those punting today
Waflcrew - I see you have gone for Grey mirage, this is the horse i have deliberated over all morning. I am not wanting to back it but have been waiting for Mawasem and have really had a nice bet on him today, but i really fear Grey Mirage. Mawasem won a red hot Kempton maiden from which the 2nd and 3rd both came out and won hard held, he was also entered in the Wood ditton first up and so everything says this horse is better than a handicapper. Grey Mirage however won easily in soft ground beat Grandeaur. I have taken the view that the form with Grandeaur is false as was not his running as he showed much better next time out but nevertheless i will not be surprised to see Grey image beat mine. My bet however is Doncaster 2.05 Mawasem 3-1 best odds
Backed these last night in an E/W Lucky 15 Nice Treble came in earlier with Russia (last night footy) and New Zealand & Austrialia (both H/C) netting me over 200 notes from a 20 euro treble bet NEWMARKET 14:55 HANDICAP 6f High Standing @ 14/1 (GP) NEWMARKET 14:20 HANDICAP 1m Takeitfromalady @ 15/2 (GP) CHESTER 15:10 HANDICAP 1m 2f 75y Oceanway @ 16/1 (GP) NEWMARKET 16:00 HANDICAP 1m 4f Ithoughtitwasover @ 9/1 (GP)
16/1 is a good price for Viva Ronaldo in the next at Chester - relishes soft conditions and is a twice winner at this track
good start from AP's mounts, a return guarenteed with the 27.5/1 double, but another winner would be fantastic!
jesus hugh taylor on some run,six winners the last week-hard to know when to got with his punts cus he can go on a lean spree. On mulaqen here win ind next at newmarket.
With 2 to go. I was lucky as i had his NR on my slip, but the cashier in badlucks told me it was a NR, was going to keep it to the 5 instead but the kind geezer told me he had switched mounts. would love another winner
