Ladbrokes are a stand out 1/5 the odds in the Supreme, and still 5/2 Jezki, absolute disgrace of a firm.

NAP landed and the second and third thrown in to boot!

Delighted with that and a very/almost over confident ride. This is a very serious hunter on decent ground.

I'm already on for the Foxhunters

Stick, the point was Village Vic was still fairly handicapped and I didnt rate the race at all really because I thought it would be a mad gallop where the fav would be too keen. I was wrong. I doubted whether we would see anyone run to a mark beyond 140 therefore VV entered my calculations.

I still think The New One looks vulnerable against the very best though, dont take it so personally.

So it appears that Flemenstar is going for the QMCC according to PC on Twitter. You have to admire PC for taking the hardest route imaginable, but there's no point in dodging horses like SS as he may never get another like Flemenstar.

Deep down we all know that its mission impossible but as long as he runs a great race and doesn't disgrace himself i think we will all be happy.

People like Peter Casey are what racing needs.

What is the point in people running a million miles away from supertstars? How can we measure Sprinter Sacre if no one ever has a crack at him? If anything, the horses who give him a good race are the ones who will earn the most respect.

    Absolutely spot on.
As for the race today SDC out stays Flemenstar, a statement of the bleeding obvious. But why did Lynch let Flemenstar move alongside the leader at the second last, go in front and then virtually pull him up again. Rubbish tactics IMHO.

I wrote on the RP site the other day that PC would be crazy not to go for the Ryanair rather than the QMCC because it by far the easier opportunity for victory. And then i realised that he WOULD be crazy to go for the Ryanair and not the QMCC. You only have to look at how the QMCC has cut up because of one horse!! Crazyness!!

It even looks like Sizing Europe is probably going to go for the Ryanair. WTF lol!! A former Arkle and 2 mile champion chase winner!!And Nh doesnt appear to want his pride and joy tested against last years winner either.Pure madness not to run a horse at its best distance in a championship race.

Even though I love Sprinter like no other,i half want Flemenstar to edge it just to stick 2 fingers up at all the gutless cowards who would rather have the easy way out.

    Rant over :)
