Yankee on the flat for me today and will look at the Stratford card a little later...

Ehtedaam 5/2
Nocturn 7/2
No Heretic 7/2
Our Phylli Vera 4/1

For those interested and to put it into perspective of how good Mossey Joe was, he won tonight in a time that was 6.7 seconds quicker than standard despite not coming off the bridle, crashing into the last fence and making the running himself on ground officially described as good. Harbour Court won over the same C+D earlier in the night carrying 4lb less in a 15 second slower time (readily enough as well) whilst the 126 rated That's Rhythm completed the same course and distance in a 12 second slower time MJ and was carrying 6lb less if taking into account the jockey's claim. That would very strongly suggest to me that both Chapoturgeon and Salsify ran to form and Mossey is just that much better than them. Absolute beast of a performance and it emphasises how much of machine he really is.

I also think it quells the fear that he got an easy lead (and needs one). The time suggests if something tried they couldn't have gone with him.

I didnt see the race ROTO, but that sounds mightily impressive then... I shall take a look at the race in a wee while then...<ok>

One for today that i really like, Castilo De Diablo, running in the opener at Haydock... Currently 7/1, but i got on at 8's...

Other than that i will prob take a few of the selections from the tipsters of the forum to make up the rest of my bets...<cheers>

No one's mentioned Stratford yet. There's some great racing there tonight and I'll be on at least three horses.

Changing The Guard 14/1
Pure Faith 15/2
Vinnie My Boy 6/1

All each way bets.

That's now 6 bets today. Far too many really.

Morning all just been studying the first athaydock red and decided that I would side with Kiama bay at 20/1 ew this could be suicidal but everything looks right for a return to a good run and at 20/1 quarter odds for a place he looks more value than the fav sun central who granted has a good record

PASTORAL PLAYER was ridden by G Baker last 2 outings yet hes on PREMIO LOCO. in the 3.15 haydock would he of had the choice between the 2 ?

uncle, i put him in my tracker after the commentator of his last race said to watch him when he is next turned out... It could go any which way this race, but im happy to place a e/w bet on him... Plus David Simcock has had a few good winners recently... It all adds up...<cheers>

Horse i put up LTO Prolinx is out again tonight in the 7.45 Stratford. His early season form was pretty good then struggled when the turf got a bit too soft. Back to form with a very comfortable win last time at Southwell and is 12lbs higher for that but more improvement should come and he is very lightly raced for his age with a decent claimer also taken off 5lbs.

Decent sized E/W at 7/1

4.20 Beverley Rockweiler 13/2 e/a

Ready to win apparently. Not my usual type of race for a bet though so I'm on each way.

2.55 Newcastle Nocturn 9/2 e/w

This one's capable of taking before going on to bigger and better things.

2.05 Haydock De Rigueur 8/1 e/w

Cheek pieces, steadily improving, jockey does bare minimum weight.

Gamble landed.

TAKE IT TO THE BANK PILGRIMS

Good luck today Ek. I like MEMORY STYX 2.10 Chester tissue 10-1. He has the plum draw but most importantly enough early pace to use it to good effect round here. Will appreciate dropping back to five and can possibly lead all the way.

If you backed it Ek then I hope it was each way. Two bets today, both second...!
