16 runners in the BF handicap an hour ago, now 15.......... how many times does that happen? Too many times to be coincidence?

My nine year old daughter and I are studying poetry and math today. We've lumped on Gordon Lord Byron in the 3.45 at Haydock at 9-1. It goes into the college fund (currently £500) if it wins. However, if it loses, then for some reason it does not come out of the college fund. I am reliably informed with great authority that this is because, although 9 year olds are allowed to collect winnings, they are not allowed to bet...

And next up the National Lottery. I mean the Betfred Sprint Cup. Perm one from 10 and still miss the winner.

I DO like Adaay though! But can't back 'em all eh? <laugh>

Cheers lads, that Nakeeta has progressed really well of late, pleased for connections!

Who we on on the big one? Always felt pearl secret would win a group 1 one day and this is the best and probably last chance. Conditions perfect.

Well done to anybody that was on Twilight Son to retain his unbeaten record. He was taking a big step up in class from handicaps – I did read a pundit somewhere ruling out the Stewards’ Cup winner Magical Memory on the grounds that no horse had come to the Sprint Cup straight from a handicap and won since a long time ago.

I knew my fate with Adaay very early on as the front runners went too fast on tacky dead ground and set the race up for the hold-up horses.

Sth i dont have a clue about the GAA,never got into it,my brother played for Dublin under 16s but i was always about the footy.Remember well Wexford winning the hurling back in 1996 dancing at the crossroads,we had a mobile home and spent many a happy summer in the lovely village of Blackwater. The locals didn't like some of us Dublin lads though!Got a right kicking from two local farmers one night, held my own but they were big lads so dinnae look the best the next day.My poor mother was horrified!

I put Tom Georges bumper horse Grand Enterprise in Cyc's comp this morning, been some money for it during the day such that I am tempted into a dabble. 9s into 6s and still being backed ..................... will wait for the on-course show

Dont know if he has improved past him, nothing to suggest he has, I just never considered Golden Horn an Arc horse and I think Jack Hobbs is. Listening to Gosden all season you would imagine he has at least closed the gap with Golden Horn, he is also having an excellent preparation for the race.

I still think he is the stand out bet at 7/1. Treve didnt have a horse like this to beat last year and she had a perfect trip, 2/1 has never interested me about her this year. Not convinced New Bay is in the same league and while I have 33/1 about Erupt, I dont think he is in the same class as Jack Hobbs either.
