Certainly a late developer - that was his 10th chase and he ran in a handicap off 145 at the beginning of December. If he were with a certain other trainer there would be suggestions of him having opened the fridge
I thought the days of split-screen racing were gone but the timing of Musselburgh and Leopardstown today has not been great - the Edinburgh National over nearly 4 miles at 15:45 and the 2 mile handicap chase at Leopardstown at 15:50. Now we have the Hunters Chase at Musselburgh (3m 2f) at 16:19 likely to run into the Leopardstown bumper at 16:25.
I do often wonder it myself Oddy, I really do. Elliott and Mullins just turn the majority of their horses into machines, more often than not. Is it a case of just being that much better at training etc. What are the rest of them at you would have to think.
Wow that was seriously impressive from Facile Vega. Sandor ran a good race in 2nd but beaten miles by an absolute machine
11/10 for the Champion Bumper - what price did you get? I know you posted it on the ante post thread but I am lazy
