All the money for El Fabiolo In the lead up to this Arkle trial. Can't give Dysart Dynamo away amd Appreciate It has been steady at the head of affairs.

Blocked by stable mate. Poor riding from The Townend or just bad luck? Best horse, keep it simple and all that, feck do I know <laugh>

Ballygriffincottage has drifted out to evens and should take the 240

Apart from her unbeaten record? Townend got in a right old pickle, Sean O'Keefe saw what was going on and placed his horse perfectly. Lossiemouth got into the pocket and paid the price. I was still surprised she couldn't get past the eventual winner, she had plenty of time in the straight.

It is a big swing from the CHristmas form isn't it? At the 2F pole you thought Lossiemouth would sweep on by but she seemed to run out of puff. I guess the effort of making up all that ground took its toll on her. No time to watch the replay yet, too many good races going on.

Gerri Colombe dug in deep there but surely he will get outpaced in the Golden Miller and will go up to 3 miles at the festival?

    Come on Dysart Dynamo

Cracking performance by El Fabiolo. DD went too quick again? Banbridge ran out well, surely Turners is the race for him? Will go close on good spring ground <ok>

BTW: Nicky Henderson - run your best horses against each other instead of moaning you can't find races for them

Wasn't foot perfect jumping either, and stayed on strongly. All the money for it through the night/morning very much vindicated. A serious chance now in March won't he, with form already tied closely with Jonbon.

What do we expect of Galopin today? On ratings he is 12lbs clear of Stattler (163) so ought to win easily but will he be ridden more conservatively to get the trip? Or will Townend try and jump the others out of their comfort zone from the front?

DIdn't realise the next at Sandown is a Pertemps Qualifier. Party Business is a big price if rediscovering his best form.

Go from the front and likely win. Not sure he's the certainty the public have him made out to be for the Gold Cup but he ought to beating this field today if he is to be winning the big one come March. First real acid test.

Agreed - even if he romps home today, there is an extra 2 furlongs and the hill at Cheltenham

Impressive enough in the end. I thought he jumped a bit lethargically in the first part of the race but when they finally quickened up at the end of the back straight he really came alive and jumped much better - fast and accurate.

Look at this Maxxum 13/8 in a big handicap like that. Up 39lbs since joining Elliott.

thought the winner was much more relaxed compared to lto, still pulled a bit but if that is ironed out in five weeks , the result might be even more emphatic .

Just an observation, but Overstate has been backed like mad in the last at Kempton. Could have had 12's in the morning, now it's down to 4/1 with Bet365.
