St Mark's Basilica hosed up there. He actually came under the pump before the two in front of him but once he got his run going in earnest there was only one winner. Mishriff lobbed along easily enough near the head of affairs but in the end he weakened and Addeybb got back past him for second. I think we probably found Mishriff's limitations today and he's no Arc contender in my opinion. My main two for today both won for a change. Came From The Dark and Magical Morning ended up at 5/1 and 13/2 for a nice double. I spent quite a bitof time looking at those races yesterday and felt Came From The Dark would reverse form with Lazuli this time. He was 3lbs better in and I felt he was slightly impeded on two occasions in the closing stages that day. In the end Lazuli faded disappointingly today and Came From The Dark came with a strong, steady, run to get up and win it. His Handicap rating will rise now and perhaps looking for suitable Group opportunities would suit better. Magical Morning travelled well and held a good position. When he was shaken up I was confident he would get there and I can only thank Dane O'Neill for putting up 3 lbs overweight on the runner up. Very decent Saturday all things considered.
