With Barters Hill still in the betting, will we need to wait till he gets pulled with the Rule 4 that will come with it.
 
We could be seeing Paul Nicholls best chance of a festival winner in the opener - Clan des Obeaux looked very special at Newbury.
 
shantou village and barters hill for me in a double.......also over at uttoxeter -Jaunty inflight to recoup loses .....
 
Ground check in the morning Nass, not sure they'll get that much.

Would testing ground inconvenience SV more than Yanworth?
 
Just checked, Shantou Village has a full brother Bun Doran who has won on heavy and soft for Tom George (finished 4th to Buveur Dair at Newbury). Therefore no ground worries for SV on breeding.
 
Bun Doran is a proper horse. Need to watch Shantou back but I seem to remember thinking he bounced off the ground.
 
Too much good racing on tomorrow nearly. Few bets lined up:

Morning Run (2.05 Donny), Djakadam (1.50 Cheltenham), Limini (3.05 Fairy)
With Paddies at the minute you're getting over 4/1 for a treble on these Mullins horses. So a muggy treble it is then :)

As Oddy has predicted above Shantou Village at 11/4 seems a nice price. Do like Yanworth as well but I'm hoping Mullhollands machine can outstay him in surely testing conditions. If he wins well, it'd look like he's a Neptune horse, which isn't great for Albert Bartlett backers like me but I've also had a few quid on him for the Neptune earlier in the week. Don't think it's really his race though, the Neptunes usually won by a Champion Hurdle type and as much as I rate the Village, he ain't no two miler so could be vulnerable in March on spring ground in the shorter race.

Like beefy have done these 3 and also another one with SHANESHILL chucked in and altho is giving weight and wil prefer longer, Vaniteux is too short! No doubt Toppy will be on him tomorrow tho

Fantastic day of action racing wise. Good to see Morning Assembly back after 21 months out injured. He beat non other than Don Cossack in a chase back in '13. He is said to be hard to get right, niggly issues blight him. Hopefully he is over the worst and that he comes back in one piece with a clear round tomorrow. Runs in the 1.55 at the house.

Timeform ratings suggest Yamworth over SV. But Barters Hill over both.

Really keen on Shantou Village and also Champagne West as a win bet. Thistlecrack should win but i hope Camping Ground can give him a proper race so we get a good price for Chelters. Vaniteux to turn over Shaneshill also.
