Don't think it was going to win anyway. Looked in need of the run, for me. Also quite big at a lot of it's hurdles.

To quote myself "pick horses that can jump" <doh>

That's why bookies are richer than me!

I don't think AFC would have picked up the winner even without the blunder.

I wouldn't have believed you if you had told me before that At Fishers Cross would have let the double down <doh>
A lot of work to be done if he's to win the World Hurdle anyway <laugh>

Jumped like a dog in my opinion never very fluent. Not sure if it was due to it being a different pilot but we all know he is a lot better than that

Nick Luck has inspired me to a speculative little e/w on Master Of The Hall in the Rehearsal Chase - I was thinking all morning he was a big price and Mr Luck just said so too. 22/1

I'm not buying them blaming the ground like they are on C4, it's bound to have been softer today than it was when he skipped round Aintree in April. And it's not the first time he has jumped sketchily either. If, and it's a large IF, Big Bucks returns to the same level as he was before he'll devour At Fishers Cross.

Ah well that's my NAP down, the doubles down now so todays betting balance to be determined by an easy to sort looking Hennesey, obviously Lord Windermere wins with Highland Lodge placing <ok>

Rocky Creek to make a bad day bearable now.

Oh, and Romelu Lukaku anytime wincast. Little dabble on 3 firstscorers in a patent too. Adam, Arteta, Noble. All take penalties. £7 for £3k. Worth a dabble.

Not long now - everything crossed for Invictus. Should be a fantastic spectacle, always like the backdrop of that lovely forest down the back straight.

Be fantastic if Rocky Creek and Our Father could fight out the finish, then we'd see who David wants to win more!

Doh! Each way on Rocky Creek. Can't complain, but thought he was going to win from about 4 out, but outfought by the winner.

How did we let Barry G's first choice go off 20s?!! Well done anyone on him. Rocky Creek probably would a been hard to beat on softer. Invictus travelled really well, just blew up at the business end. A winner next time out I'd say.
