True, but most our flop signings were on higher wages and coming from top flights of European leagues, wouldn't entertain the Champ.
If we sold Armstrong now we'd get half the money we paid for him if we're lucky. If we have decided he's not for us we'd be better off loaning him out next season so he can regain some form and get a bit more for him.
It’s just so tough to score goals when you’re not on the pitch.
What logical reason is there for him not being on the pitch though? We have effectively been playing for nothing for the last month or so and he’s barely played. Now we are giving Long some kind of extended goodbye game instead of giving him a chance to get some games under his belt and adapt more to the PL
I totally agree. We should be playing Armstrong 100%
And you don’t think that the fact we aren’t suggests he may not be here next season as the Coaching staff don’t think he’s good enough?
I don't see the rush to be honest. Let him have a full pre season, and lets see where we are in August.
