I had Harry Topper in the tipping comp but he made a novicey mistake and gave TM no chance of staying in the plate.

Nothing to do with pilot error...just one of those things that can happen in any steeplechase.

I didn't see the race but is it possible that BSB wants it heavier than good-soft? Harry Topper was no price given what he's beaten but my league selection Auroras Encore really disappointed. Once the 2 market leaders were gone I thought I was home and hosed. I'll need to watch the race later.

He never really travelled George and had a hard race lto in deep ground culminating in a crashing fall...that's possibly left it's mark on him.

He's never been the best of jumpers and tbh I don't think the ground was the reason today.

Interesting to hear what connections have to say.I would say a break is on the cards,maybe until next season.

It was still a cracking race minus the big two with four in with a shout at the second last.

One to possibly be on early doors for tomorrow is MUBROOK 10-1 4.30 Huntingdon. Has contested a couple of decent races since coming over from Ireland. Harry Derham is very good value for his 5lb claim and I have a suspiscion that the the shrewd Mr Ellison may have this fella spot on for tomorrow. Too big to ignore @ tens for me!

looks like everyome did poorly today ! still imperial cup next sat. i dont do in the week racing too much crap and even morevwhether they actually trying to win the race!!
