For anyone that follows the ptp thread , big news. The occovango gelding is going to run under rules. Our trainer is taking out a license apparently. I’m having a meeting later.
Risk Belle wins nicely enough. Rosey's Hollow of course ran into 5th and just missed a place payment. Happy enough, at least one won.
No idea mate. Eye-catching run from Nusret in 2nd - what do you think he can achieve this season? He was rated 139 prior to today and has probably run to that, given he was conceding 12ibs to the filly. Could pick up some nice prizes at Grade 2/3 or in handicaps. Might be one to keep on the tracker.
Well, all good things come to an end eventually, and today was a bad day at the office! Hearty congratulations to all those who managed to find a winner today, well done! (That Gavin Sheehan is some NH jockey, brilliant ride he gave Datsalrightgino, top-class)
He ran well didn't he. Travelled nicely and the penalty was the deciding factor when push came to shove. Sad news to hear the fave lost his life, was only in it's infancy from a racing POV. As for Nusret, I am not overly sure of what his intended target will be. Is there room to win big pots with his handicap mark or just flaunt about in G2 and G3's? I am not sure he's upto G1 level but Joseph will no doubt work the oracle to land something nice.
