Quick note on Cue Card- he rarely performs so well under penalties and will come on for today. Travelled like the best horse, jumped like the best horse, got tired. Looked very exuberant to me and he was best when he settled last year. He was just a bit excited to be back racing i suspect. I'm pleased with him- he certainly hasn't regressed and he will come on a bundle. Him against Coneygree will be something at Haydock with match fitness. The one worry is that he only gave 4lb to the winner but as I said, I'm almost certain he will leap forward from that.
I wouldn't be surprised if something was amiss Rusty. Prominent until dropping out to last and tailed off before being pulled up.
Joe Fanning waiting around for a couple of hours until the last race could be a tip in itself, therefore a win bet on DIVINE CALL it is. Taken the 5/1.
