A fantastic performance from Kitty’s Light winning 2 big marathon handicaps in a week. Just shows some of them can race more than 4 times a year. Also saw Ted Walsh hung up the mic yesterday. I have enjoyed his insight and wit over the years.
I'm yet to meet a punter that gets it right more times than wrong... Great front running performance from Seddon. Battled all the way and thoroughly deserved the win.
Ted hung up the Mic live on air yesterday after 40 years doing punditry. He wasn't everyone's cup of tea, he shot from the hip and didn't care if you liked it or not but his honesty and frankness was refreshing, especially more recently where some are afraid to call a spade a spade. He got in trouble more times for swearing or saying something not fit for daytime TV more times than not but it was never with any bad intention, that is just the way he is. His most famous quip possibly being when he was being questioned about a certain Mare live on TV and he came out with " I rode her Mother down in Cork once before" it is still bandied about every now again in conversations.
