God I love Midnight Chase. I might not have had anything on him but I'm still so pleased. Such a gutsy and honest horse who loves it round cheltenham. He might not be grade 1 class but you know he'll always give his all.
Another top ride by Dom, Need the polytrack horse to dig me out of the doo doo today. Come on Waabel (seems to be fancied)
I think so Stick. Is there even a progressive chaser around apart from him? ffs Calgary Bay picking up these races easily. People keep saying 1833 is a stayer I don't think he is - the last twice he has finished out on his feet drop him down
Thought Calgary Bay was a great bet for the national at the start of the season (and was actually on him last year) but I fear the handicapper will have sort him out thanks to his last 2 wins. Two of my favourite horses in training have won today and I didn't have a penny on either
BROADBACKBOB hoses up in the next for me! See what Nicholls had to say earlier; Paul Nicholls had been surprised by the performance of Pearl Swan, a winner at Taunton on his only previous start in Britain. "He ran last week and it was a bit quick to bring him back but I wanted to see what we had." said Nicholls. "Today was to show us if we went down the Fred Winter or the Triumph Hurdle route and we'll go for the Triumph because I think I can improve him massively from that.
