    Belmont R10 - Got Stormy 6/1

Think this is a storming bet, the perception is that she is not the same horse as last year after a couple of 4th places, but this filly barely stays a mile and those race were at 8.5f, she was a decent 2nd in the Frank E Kilroe in between those runs and this even sharper mile at Belmont is ideal for her. Newspaperofrecord bounced back last time but shes better with cut in the ground and with 50/1 shot Valedictorian likely to take her on for the lead she will be a sitting duck in the straight. Got Stormy should get a pefect trip behind these 2 in 3rd, take it up in the straight and Uni will be too late. I think this is a rare case where everything is perfect for a horse and most people are going to throw it out, I think 6/1 is an insane price and im very confident she will win.

O'Brien's has a decent chance, I reckon he should go close.

Newspaperofrecord was scintillating last day. I shall be watching the race tomorrow, no financial investment so all the best with your bet, I'll light a candle at mass tomorrow evening for you...GL

Newspaperofrecord had her soft ground and uncontested lead at 7f in a lower grade last time, shes a full bank lay in this spot imo, wouldnt back her at 20/1, only danger is Uni.

I think this is one of the best bets ive ever seen, struggling to think of a better bet. The biggest certainty to set foot on a racecourse since Unsinkable Boxer and you are getting now 5/1.

It was a weak race alright but it was visually impressive. You're almost luring me in Edouard - but I won't burden it.

    1.50 Newcastle- Mubakker- 5/2

Very lightly raced 4yo who has only run 5 times too. Won a handicap for the 2nd time of asking over c+d lto staying on very extremely well, before that the run at Ascot, was his handicap debut he went off 3/1 JF against quite a few horses who ran in the Wokingham last week! He also didn’t look comfortable at any point whether it was the ground or the track. But a lot must of been thought of him to go off jf on his handicap debut; He’s proven he like the Tapeta, seems to be very much on the up and more improvement is extremely likely. The majority of this field are on their way down and you know what you are going to get. Altho good horses on thier day, my pick should be able to improve past these and take this step up in class well in his stride!

With Skybet paying 6 places....dare I say it.
Regardless, this one has an outstanding chance today. Fantastic record on the all weather and will have come on a bundle from having a prep run behind Nayef Road in the Sagaro. That one was the nearest finisher to Stradvarius in the Gold Cup next time out. Alan King is throwing winners in for fun on the flat these days and Hollie Doyle is riding out of her skin and obviously gets a great tune out of this horse.

I backed COSMELLI on Thursday @20/1 only come in four points but has a ew chance
at least, won the plate 2018 over CD, ran over 1m6f staying on well for third beaten by Collide.
now down 8lb when a close fifth last year in this.

Good luck with yours, as you say Alan has been doing well and with Who dares wins obliging
last week must be a contender, just read that Hollie has a 75% strike rate when teaming
    up with the owners also.

Fiscal Rules two runs to date compare pretty well with any other form on offer in the Irish Derby. I’d probably prefer the Arthur’s Kingdom Ascot form over Santiago’s as a pointer for this race, but the Bolger colt is a better price than either of them.

    Morning all..

Newmarket 2.05pm Boccaccio 7/4 win. Get the impression this one will be going up in grade soon. Looks very smart.

Newmarket 3.35pm Carnwennan 9/1 each way 4 places. Loves the track and won the vase last year in impressive fashion. By passed royal Ascot to come straight here and this has been the plan for some time - big run expected.

    Good luck all. :emoticon-0167-beer:
