Can somebody make a block booking for Channel 4 racing presenters at Specsavers? They talked some utter rubbish about Rich Legacy in the Prestige Stakes. It did not get blocked when making its run. It had every chance two furlongs from home, held up at the back of the field. When he asked for an effort it did not respond but then ran on late and just failed to snatch third. How many of them tipped it on The Morning Line? Credit to the winner Kilmah but her victory does not mark this out as great form, as she has been beaten in several other juvenile pattern races, so none of those behind today will be in the notebook; and I will not be chasing my losses on Grecian Light, who was never really a factor.
I am sure that somebody from the RFL can explain why the Challenge Cup Final is being refereed by an unknown part-time referee from the lower leagues whilst the video referee is Super League whistle jockey Ben Thaler. The showpiece event on free-to-air television and they do not use their best officials... Somebody tell the FA that my dad is available for the FA Cup Final. He stopped refereeing in the Lincs League about thirty years ago and he cannot see three yards in front of his face nowadays so he is the perfect choice.

As it was the place got back my losses on Grecian Flight. I just wish I had decided to chance Kitaaby at Newmarket as it is clearly still improving.
