Hello lads. Only bet of the week today is Alanza at 5/2 in the 3.50 at the Curragh to overturn odds on hotpot Emulous. Improved rapidly last year and I have no doubt she'll be G1 class this year.She won a couple of nice G3 events over 7F last year but that trip is a minimum and she will be seen to much better effect over a mile and untimately 10f which,on breeding,will be no problem. A fast run mile looks ideal and with confirmed front runner Law Of The Range in the field,that is exactly whaat she should get today.I expect her to take this hot heat on the way to greater things.Only slight concern is her reappearance last year which she needed and was never put in the race. GL all.
1.40 Curragh DELIGHT 5/1 Shocked that Delight is available at 5/1 for the opener at the Curragh. She has an excellent pedigree and fetched 220,000 as a yearling. Delight shaped with plenty of promise when finishing midfield on debut at Naas earlier this month. She didn't get a clear passage after being held up and was looked after once given a tap with the whip. I expect a better performance today
Also gonna have a play on Hitchens at 3/1 in the 2.40. A strongly run straight 6f on decent ground is right up his street.He's in very good form I've been told and is fancied to follow up last years win in this,despite the fact it's a strong G3.
