Not currently quoted for the 2019 ‘King George VI Chase’ but will he be after today’s heat??? It would be his CGC next term as he, and I quote, ‘will never be a horse for Cheltenham’.
2.25 Kempton This looks a moderate enough renewal in terms of those who have run and what they have achieved so far. I think Ecco is a possible improver now that he has left German Flat racing and gone to Paul Nicholls. Form figures on the Flat in Gemany are uninspiring to the casual glance but he was tried in Group 2 company and also in the Group 1 German Derby. His Racing Post Rating of 98 at best puts him into potential good class if taking to Hurdles well. Entered in the Triumph, he is a bit later out than you would like to see but he was Gelded as soon as he arrived at the Nicholls yard and the stable have won this race before with newcomers to the game. Potentially a decent prospect I though he was the one to be with here at 6/1. 2.25 Kempton Ecco at 6/1 for in form trainer and jockey.
Two will win and the other will come second, just like Spurs one will let you down at the last minute!
Skybet have enhanced Fearsome to win the 2.35 at Lingers to 5/1 by 2 lengths or more, I'll have a wee slice of that.
I have went for the jolly. Bags Groove on the drift, i think it is a case of the jolly improving and BG flatlining.
I agree Oddy. When we used to manage the biggest junior affiliated show in Europe (both by number of entries and prize money and gifts) we never changed the name of the classes. They would be called the XYZ ………. Sponsored by ……… I hate the names being changed (unless of course they started off as the name of the original sponsor so wouldn't be appropriate with a change of sponsor). Famous races in particular should have their names protected
Let's see whether Lieutenant Henderson can still bring one back from a long lay-off. Burrows Edge here we go.
What a game horse Eric Le Rouge is. Are they still planning to close Kempton? Tragedy if they are, such an iconic racecourse and one of the very best on the NH circuit.
hi fellas! kempton,1 50: all four arrive here with very solid chances, but if BAGS GROOVE can bounce back from a disappointing effort last time out,hes got a major shout today.he beat secret investor with 9 lengths a few starts back, and although not neccesarily better off today, can confirm the placings with him..

kempton,2 25: not too many house-hold names here, but i like the king horse GIVING GLANCES here.she might have a tad more experience already than most of the others, and her win last time out looked quite good,so,with her fillies allowance, can go well today, despite not the choice of wayne hutchinson.
