As anyone who is familiar with my contributions will notice, many of the decisions of Jockeys and trainers made leave me perplexed, and so we have another one today. This is not connected to betting as I did not bet in the race but my question is.... Why does Wesley Ward bring jockeys over from America to ride his horses? My point is his riding instructions have no nuance or subtlety in that they leave the stalls and try and make all, and anyone can do that. This jockey today had never ridden the horse before so it's not like he knows the horse. Completely pointless exercise and journey for the jockey.
Maybe he doesn't trust uk jocks to follow instruction, simple though they are lol Come on Flash Fire. Drawn in 4, and a front runner, stalls 1 &2 are empty and a hold up horse in 3 It's bound to make a monkey's uncle of me lol
Good luck Reebs, I am on it, just had the winners at York then Sandown, can I make it an across the card treble?
No problem Stick. Only just got home, been out to see the Vulcan Bomber. Read the report, sounds like last time, run up the backside of everything and get boxed in. Think they need a proper jock on it.
Cannot help but fancy Arab Dawn in the Ebor. The weight pull means logically Ajman Bridge should beat him but there's something about Arab Dawn and his toughness in a race like this that I like, and Hughie Morrison will have him spot on, but for once is a very nice price. Should stay, breeding says a bit of dig won't hurt.
Fields Of Athenry for me in the Ebor. Good luck to whatever can catch him If Willie manages to get Clondaw Warrior to win this he is the best trainer there has ever been and ever will be.
