Yous can have no complaints, your horse got the run of the race, his two main rivals were given absolutely no chance by their jockeys, and he still couldnt get the job done, the race was handed to him on a plate and he was outbattled by a mare, he was beaten at his own game by Danefluke, I can only imagine the carnage had St Nic or Sea Moon actually been put into the race.

    Yep. Well done WLYT.

Cracking race. I hope none of them pull out of the Arc. My Sky+ just froze so I can't replay the race to see what happened to Sea Moon. Seemed to drop out and run on again. Now 20/1 for the Arc. Can he improve to be a threat? Unfortunately it didn't look like it.

    Nice one, Oddy! <applause>
Have been as busy as hell today but did manage to have a bit on her after your comment (thank goodness as I missed her in last year's Arc). Only just watched replay, and it was a deserved success as she was really short of room a couple of furlongs out.

Whoever it is GGW, I wouldn't let it get to you. Treat it as a bit of banter. If you don't want to see the posts of someone just go to their profile and click on Add to Ignore List.

Or you can click on your Control Panel and under My settings - My Account, click on Edit Ignore List. To remove someone from the Ignore List just uncheck it from there.

Danefluke, what a bloody daft comment. Christ, if anything, she proved her Arc victory was no fluke. Dumb remark.

<cheers> Swanny, might be tempted up to Hoppegarten myself tomorrow, although the G1 looks a weak affair and Meandre likely to be a very hot fav. Only 83K to the winner as wel, so another good reason for them to go to Ascot today with Danedream

Quick question boris.....if that was a poor G1 field then what 1m4f horses would have to have been entered to make it a good one? Camelot aside as we know that was never going to happen

Not the first time he has done this on st nic! Needed to be closer to the pace! Wonder whether its worth stepping him up in distance, won over 1m5f at chester last year and wasnt exactly stopping after the line! Pretty confident he would dominate the staying division

SNA.certainly shapes over 12F in the manner that further shouldn't be a problem. AOB doesn't get the very best out him you can tell there is a lot more horse there. Just another casualty of the trainer I'm afraid.

Just back from a day out, must find more time to study, my 33/1 shot has only gone and won one of the big races today.

Hope some of you managed to get on board but would understand if you didn't, at his best he was a knocking EW bet you don't get to within 3/4l of Dick Turpin over C&D and not be a decent horse happy days
