Delighted for Somersby's connections, If anyone deserves a Gr1 he did. Always knocking on the door just found one or two too good. Al Ferof was never travelling for Me, Ruby never looked happy. As for Finians Rainbow couldn't put the race to bed, Champion Chase. No chance...
Finians Rainbow looked all class untill he came off the bridle. Somersby is decent but we all know he is no world beater goes down as a poor renewal for me
Damn it. Should have backed Somersby after I'd said it. Remember lads this time last year alot of us were saying the Arkle was a very weak renewal. Just something to consider when talking up the chances of that group of horses in the best races this year. Captain Chris has hardly advertosed the form has he and now Finian's couldn't beat Somersby. Al Ferof must run in the Arkle. Can't see him beating the front two in the market.

Glad I'm on Sizing Europe for the Champ Chase - agree with RV that Finians Rainbow ran out of steam and won't have enough coming up the hill. Somersby is still a fecking dog though
Stick he is good no world beater stand by that statement he is never going to win lots of grade ones on the spin or anything
