Had Snow Sky down as a bet as I loved his win over the Panther the last day but of course I never backed him Back to listed class for the Harry Herbert hype horse Oh what a bookies horse he is...
He is but he's a good Group 2 horse, as per today's race Like I always bang on, theres different grades/groups for a reason.
Right, who's for coffee? ..plenty of love for Wandjina the Aussie runner, plenty seem to be preferring him over Brazen Beau in Ireland. They might be right as I backed Brazen Beau
Mixed feelings for Sir Michael Stoute, great ride by one of the best flat jockeys anywhere in Europe on Snow Sky, but Telescope ran a stinker and can't see him winning a Group 1 any time soon (maybe never), even though Ryan Moore said the ground was too lively for him today. I see him as Group 2 class not Group 1.
Sir Michael looked right out of a Charles Dickens novel. Which one, which character, I leave to you.....
I was jesting at Pat's interview on C4 Beefy where he said I think he's a very good horse 5 times in a row, he couldn't say much else
Opposing the Australian horse with Mustajeeb in the Diamond Jubilee to give Pat Smullen a double. Won the Jersey at last year's Royal meeting, and won a Group 2 on his seasonal debut at the Curragh. Due Diligence was second in this race last year and shouldn't be dismissed lightly.
Speaking of lookalikes, Dean Ivory with the shades on is doing his best impression of Mr.Bunsen Honeydew at Ascot.
Oh My...... It's one thing watching one of our jocks out think himself in a handicap at Leicester, but to bring a horse over from Australia and the Jockey to try to be so clever he gets it beat is quite another thing. What a fool.
Really pleased for Undrafted after his luckless 3rd in the Breeders Cup Turf sprint. Definitely helped my week!
Connections were very hopeful of Undrafted running a big race, saying he's never been in better shape, why didn't we listen! Was third in last year's Breeders Cup Sprint.
