Great to see England beat Australia convincingly.. possibly the All Blacks await in the semis.. Mostly a watching brief for me today but i will have a couple of wagers in the last at Ascot. I really like the chances of Amedeo Modigiliani 5/1 each way 5 places for Aidan O’Brien who i recall was once a strong fancy for the yard for the Derby. Ground, track, trip all fine and looks like he could be well handicapped off 98. I shall also have a small each way saver on Dark Vision at 40/1 each way 6 places as just have a suspicion he could possibly win won of these big handicaps. Good luck all..
Watch out for Freedom Chimes in the 2.20 at Stratford. Could finally get his head in front today with the assistance from Adrian Heskin. Has been running better than finishing position suggests recently and handicap mark gives this one every chance now.
I do like the look of Beltor off 10-05 in the Welsh Champion Hurdle. His form on soft ground is actually rather good (won the Adonis, 6th in the Triumph Hurdle, 7th in Ballyandy's Betfair Hurdle not beaten that far) and I think this could be right up his street today.
For what it's worth here's my attempt at the card. 1:45 - Sidi Ismael 3/1 2:20 - Vereina 14/1 2:55 - No bet 3:30 - Bagan 10/1 4:05 - Darlyn 6/1 4:35 - Hurricane Rita 10/3 5:10 - Jessica Rabbit 9/1 Have a great day
I thought Hello Youmzain had a good chance in the Sprint. His best form is on soft and he's not fully exposed yet. I can't be with Advertise on this ground and I suspect One Master is just a shade short of the class at the 6F trip. On a tricky day I decided to pull the wallet out for one last Hurrah on Hello Youmzain at 13/2. He served me well as a 2YO and can lead them home today in the gutters. 1.35 Ascot Hello Youmzain 13/2 Ladbrokes are offering 4 places each-way and he should at least make that frame for each-way players.
One master should’ve won the first, second again ffs. Two for latter addeybb and I really fancy glen shiel in the handicap all his winning in France on soft by pivitol so should love it here.ew at a price.
Hello Youmzain has an obvious fast ground action, I didnt bet on the race but throwing him out was my only strong opinion based on his action, I know the formbook says he wont on soft at Haydock last time but the ground was nowhere near soft there, it was the fastest time since 2013 and only half a second slower than when he beat Calyx over C+D on ground described as good to firm. Another case of bullshit going descriptions in UK racing. A listed horse winning G1s here, 6f in over 1:16, welcome to champions day, Librisa Breeze a few years ago, now this. One Master was absolutely murdered for a run and would have went very close to winning, a horse who would be 33/1 if running in a July Cup on decent ground.
I would have thought he would have learned from the Arc in this going. Easy to say sitting here but if he had just left it another few strides he would have won
ffos las,3 00: a small field, but tricky. ive chosen ENNISTOWN,in the hope,he gets his form back on track.
For me its Candy Burg for the Bowens. Has formerly run well in valuable handicaps in france and took this race last year for Olly Murphy. I'm sure the Bowens will find the key to unleash this ones potential.
Disappointing from Anapurna. I obviously overrated her. Has a strange running style and always looked as though she would struggle to win this. The pre race fall may have had some affect. I thought she would run well on this ground
Frankie got it right this time. Start Catcher stays in training next year. Will Gosden pitch her against Enable in the Arc?
