They’re backing the **** out of Addeybb - great story this would be, the Lincoln winner going on to Grade 1 glory. 7/2 now and must’ve the best backed horse of the day.

But you’d think there is much more liquidity in the Lockinge market? I’d think it would take significant money to move Addeybb so significantly? Or are the bookies stitching us up? <laugh>

Sat in the sun having a couple of beers. Love the summer in Berlin, but the winter is a dirty skanky hoor

I used to love going to Berlin. Although I hear it has changed now...and not always for the better.

Great news on the betting restirctions on the FOBTs. Hopefully no direct knock on to people like Resurgam except for later opening & earlier closing and more days off throughout the year! <badger><badger><badger>

I’ve been here 24 years and seen massive change. Gentrification is currently a huge issue with property prices being driven through the roof by foreign investors. It does somehow feel like home though because of (1) the quirky Berliners and (2) the extremely diverse population. A very relaxed place to live <ok>

That’s what annoys me about flat racing - in the first at Newbury the Hamdan runner falls out of the stalls, is ridden quietly out the back and finishes really nicely to grab 4th. I’m sure that will prove to be the best horse in the race long term but that was just public schooling.

No money down but would love to see Addeybb win this - come on my son.

As McCririck would have said - favourites flip-flopping <ok>

Had the curse to contend with as well where pretty much all previous winners were 4 with the odd age 5!
